Salty's Round Nose Swimmers

Perfect for North-east Saltwater top water fishing for BIG Stripers and Blues!

2.5 oz Size
Constructed of Pacific Cypress, I use only the finest stock! Machine tied buck tails with Mirage flash! Single VMC Permasteel 4X strong 4/0 Belly hook, 6/0 tail hook,
150 lb Rosco swivels, 2X strong 110 lb stainless steel split rings. Stainless Steel hardware where possible. Recessed molded holographic eyes for maximum effect!

Proper presentation of this swimmer lure is to cast then very slowly retrieve, stop occasionally, and also occasionally twitch the rod tip to let the lip throw some water.
These lures are designed to be surface swimmers, on a faster retrieve they will swim just below the surface.
Action is a real nice tight tail wiggle. Fish key in on the V wake and wiggle action that these produce and will explosively hit these lures!
Fish them SLOW! Sometimes you can let the wind or current take them out with an open bail and then fish them, this has been a very good technique!

What our customers have to say:

"You have a quality product comparable to *********** or **** but with out the huge price tag. I was amazed the hooks on the plug looked just like they did when I purchased the plug from CMS.
Not like an ##### with the Mustad hooks --mangled. You use premium parts (VMC hooks etc) and it shows in the product"

"Bought one of your big pearl swimmers the other day down in RI.
I've been using it back up here in MA. The fish love it... SO do the gulls :-)"

"Well - the pink swimmer lasted at least 3 minutes before getting blasted. That was in a 1 rod spread consisting of the pink swimmer all by its lonesome. "

I get asked a lot about what colors are best?
Olive/White mimics the natural color/size of a mackerel swimming. Electric Squid is a great color to imitate frightened squid as they flee predator fish in the rips and rocks of the northeast. Pearl White is the best imitation of a normal squid. Yellow or Parrot at sunrise or cloudy days. Black/purple at night with the glow eyes is a killer if you softly light up the eyes in your headlamp. Sunny days stick with a color that has a high definition color hue change on it....Olive/White, Blue/White, etc. Spend some time looking at the bait prevalent in your area and you will soon understand why certain colors can give you just that little bit extra advantage to entice a larger fish to take your lure.
